Two years after his wife’s unexpected death, renowned stage actor and director Yusuke (Hidetoshi Nishijima) receives an offer to direct a production of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya in Hiroshima. There, he meets Misaki (Toko Miura), a taciturn young woman assigned by the festival to chauffeur him. Yusuke is at first resistant to her, yet he begins, with the help of his driver, to face the haunting mysteries his wife left behind. A Janus Films release.
