Dir. Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey & Rodney Rothman. U.S., 2018, 120 mins. Featuring the voices of Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Kimiko Glenn. Into the Spider-Verse introduces to the Spider-Man mythology a dynamic new character, Miles Morales, a thirteen-year-old living in Brooklyn secretly training to be the new Spider-Man. With the help of new Spidey friends, including his reluctant mentor and original Spider-Man Peter Parker and Spider-Woman Gwen Stacy, Miles learns to find the hero inside himself. Thrillingly animated with a variety of styles, this fast-paced, Oscar-winning film creates a world of limitless possibilities, where more than one person can wear the mask.
