It is 1944, and Warsaw is on its knees with Nazi forces occupying the city. When word is received that the mighty Red Army is advancing on the city, a rebel army prepares to distract the Nazis from the coming invasion. This big-budget tale of youth, love, courage, and sacrifice during the Warsaw Uprising is an absorbing movie and a stunning physical production.
