Free Screening, with producer Sarah Green in person

Dir. Jeff Nichols, 2016, 123 mins. DCP courtesy Focus Features. With Ruth Negga, Joel Edgerton. Loving is a touching, beautifully realized dramatization of the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple who married in the late 1950s and were arrested for miscegenation in Virginia. Their case led to a landmark case that ended at the Supreme Court. As the modest couple whose case helped advance civil rights in the United States, Ruth Negga and Joel Edgerton give two of the year's most acclaimed performances. Producer Sarah Green will participate in a discussion after the screening

Free admission. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Museum members may RSVP to [email protected]. Tickets must be picked up ten-minutes before showtime.
