A chance encounter sets a musician on a surprising journey of self-discovery in this mesmerizing tale of art and destiny. Bengali actor Ritwick Chakraborty stars as a struggling Mumbai violinist who barely scrapes by working gigs as a Bollywood session player. But a fateful meeting with an enigmatic filmmaker (Adil Hussain) leads to an unexpected artistic collaboration that proves life changing. By turns funny and poignant, The Violin Player conjures a quietly gripping air of mystery as it builds towards its soul-shaking denouement.
