Part of 10th Annual New York City Greek Film Festival
Saturday, October 15, 2016, 7:00 p.m.

Dir. Argyris Papadimitropoulos. 2016, 104 mins. DCP. With Makis Papadimitriou, Elli Tringou, Dimi Hart. This cautionary tale takes shape in the summer, when the quiet island of Antiparos comes to life. A lonely doctor bordering on middle age falls in love with a much younger woman. What begins as one man’s quest to rediscover his lost youth quickly turns into obsession. According to Variety, “It’s an unflinching depiction of one man’s descent into an embarrassing vortex of desire.” Recommended for mature audiences only.
