MEMBERS-ONLY PREVIEW SCREENING
Microbe and Gasoline

Saturday, June 25, 2016, 11:00 a.m.

Dir. Michel Gondry. 2015, 103 mins. With Ange Dargent, Thophile Baquet, Audrey Tautou. In Michel Gondry’s charming coming-of-age saga, which played at the New York Film Festival, Microbe, an introverted artist, strikes up a fast friendship with like-minded outcast Gasoline. In order to escape their unhappy circumstances, the two eighth graders build a makeshift house-car, setting out on a road trip through the countryside of France. Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) directs what Variety called “a wonderfully sincere portrait of two adolescent outsiders determined to pave their own way in the world.”

Free screening for Museum members at the Film Lover level and above. Members will receive email notification with RSVP, or may contact [email protected]. For information about becoming a member and to join online, please click here.
