OFF-SITE PREVIEW SCREENING
The Nice Guys

Friday, May 13, 2016, 3:00 p.m.
AT THE HBO SCREENING ROOM (1100 6TH AVENUE, MANHATTAN)

With writer/director Shane Black and producer Joel Silver in person

Dir. Shane Black.
2016, 116 mins. DCP courtesy of Warner Bros. With Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling. Here is a special chance to see a major new Hollywood film the day before its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling star in the action comedy The Nice Guys, which takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. Followed by a discussion with director Shane Black, who has brought a sharp comic sensibility to spectacular genre entertainment in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and legendary producer Joel Silver, whose many credits include the Matrix films, the Die Hard series, the Lethal Weapon movies and much more.
