Richard Marks founded the PlayStation Magic Lab to push the boundaries of play and technology, helping create the EyeToy, PlayStation Eye camera, and Move controller. Marks discusses his recent work with PlayStation VR and identifies the new opportunities and challenges virtual reality affords, elaborating on a number of techniques and game mechanics that are successful (and why).

This talk is presented as part of IndieCade East, the Museum’s annual celebration of independent games and the people who make and play them.
