Emma is a comic book artist whose day job is making sex dolls. She struggles to find her place in society as she draws a comic book about Edward, a fearless filmmaker making a film about Michelle, a novelist, who is writing a book about a cartoonist… little does Emma realize that the implications may bleed off the page and into her real life.
