Dir. Tod Browning. 1931, 85 mins. Digital restoration featuring a score by Philip Glass. With Bela Lugosi, Helen Chandler. Tod Browning’s seminal horror film version of Dracula is notable for its moody and sensual atmosphere and its minimal use of dialogue. Composer Philip Glass wrote a musical score for the film, performed by the Kronos Quartet.
