A wickedly grotesque, genre-bending ode to yakuza films from Japanese auteur Sion Sono, Why Don’t You Play In Hell? features a filmmaking clan of enfant terribles who insert themselves into a blood-soaked gang war with their cameras to fulfill their ultimate goal of making “the greatest movie ever made.”

Tickets for Friday evening screenings: $12 ($9 for senior citizens and students / free for members at the Film Lover level and above). Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members at the Film Lover level and above may reserve tickets in advance.
