Sesame Street: The Parodies

Part of Jim Henson's World
Sunday, November 30, 2014, 1:00 p.m.

Introduced by Craig Shemin

In honor of the groundbreaking program’s 45th season, and the exhibition Somebody Come and Play: 45 Years of Sesame Street currently on view at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, Craig Shemin will present some of the most memorable music, movie, and TV show parodies from Sesame Street. From classics like “Born to Add” to the more recent “Upside Downton Abbey” and Cookie Monster's "Crumby Pictures," the creative team at Sesame Workshop has poked fun at pop culture since 1969 and is still going strong. Program duration: 90 mins.

Tickets are included with paid Museum admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Members at the Film Lover level and above may reserve tickets in advance.
