Part of Star Presence on Screen

Introduced by author James Harvey

Dir. Quentin Tarantino. 1997, 154 mins. 35mm. With Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Forster, Robert De Niro, Michael Keaton. Tarantino followed his blockbuster hit Pulp Fiction with this labyrinthine multi-character cops-and-robbers film derived from the Elmore Leonard novel Rum Punch (1992). Despite the convoluted plot, the point of the movie is spending time with the characters. “It’s my Rio Bravo—my hangout movie,” said Tarantino. The great ensemble cast is led by former “Blaxploitation” star Pam Grier.

Tickets for Friday evening screenings: $12 ($9 for senior citizens and students / free for Museum members) and includes admission to the Museum's galleries, which are open until 8:00 p.m. For more information on membership and to join online, visit our membership page.
