With Richard Conte, Jean Wallace, Cornel Wilde, Brian Donlevy. In one of the last great noirs, photographed by John Alton, and featuring Joseph H. Lewis’s (Gun Crazy) blend of violence and morbid sexuality, an obsessive detective pursues a savage mob boss whose motto is “First is first and second is nobody.”

Tickets for Friday evening screenings: $12 ($9 for senior citizens and students / free for Museum members) and includes admission to the Museum's galleries, which are open until 8:00 p.m.
