The documentary-like but poetically rendered narrative follows Stan (Sanders), employed at the slaughterhouse and suffering from the emotional side effects of his bloody occupation. The film is an impressionistic portrait of a Black family man eaten up by money problems, who is fighting to save his soul and support his family in the Watts ghetto of L.A.

Tickets for Friday evening screenings: $12 ($9 for senior citizens and students / free for Museum members) and includes admission to the Museum's galleries, which are open until 8:00 p.m.
