DEMONSTRATION
Descriptive Camera by Matt Richardson

Part of Tech Lab at the Moving Image Studio
Saturday, October 27, 2012, 12:00 p.m.

The Descriptive Camera works a lot like a regular camera—point it at something and press the button to capture the subject. Instead of producing the image, the Descriptive Camera outputs a text description of the scene. Modern digital cameras capture gobs of information about a photo, like the date and time it was taken, but nothing about the content of the photo. The Descriptive Camera only outputs information about the content.

Free with Museum admission. Ages 10+, accompanied by an adult (12+ on their own).
