Sachs revisits his atmospheric hometown city Memphis as the perfect backdrop for this multi-layered tale. Sachs draws stylistic inspiration from the overlapping audio of Robert Altman and the intimate naturalism of John Cassavetes. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.
