Dir. Andy Warhol. 1965, 66 mins.

Edie Sedgwick was Andy Warhol’s flighty, endlessly charismatic “It Girl,” the star of all his talkies in 1965. An hour-long close-up of Edie singing along to rock songs and, as always, making herself up and talking, this rediscovered portrait film is Warhol’s The Passion of Joan of Arc.

Preserved by Andy Warhol Museum as part of the Avant-Garde Masters Grant program administered by the National Film Preservation Foundation and funded by the Film Foundation.

Free with museum admission.
