This film about the suddenly crowned King George VI, who takes power while England is on the brink of World War II, and must learn to overcome a debilitating stutter, is one of the year’s best-reviewed and most honored films. The remarkable ensemble cast includes Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Claire Bloom, Helena Bonham Carter, Clair Bloom, and Jennifer Ehle. Director Tom Hooper, Claire Bloom, and Jennifer Ehle will be present for a discussion following the screening.
